ScreenPick is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data when you use our Chrome extension.

Data Collection

ScreenPick stores all your screenshots and settings locally on your device using Chrome's storage API. We do not collect, store, or transmit your screenshots to any external servers.

OCR Processing

When you use the OCR feature, your screenshots are sent to OCR.space API for text extraction. This is a third-party service, and their privacy policy applies to that data processing. We recommend reviewing the OCR.space privacy policy.

Data Storage

• Screenshots are stored locally in your browser
• Settings and preferences are stored locally
• No data is sent to our servers
• You can delete all data at any time from the extension settings

Permissions

ScreenPick requires certain Chrome permissions to function:

• activeTab: To capture the current tab
• storage: To save screenshots and settings locally
• clipboardWrite: To copy screenshots to clipboard
• downloads: To save screenshots to your computer
